Research Shows HCPs Want to Be Informed and Still Prefer Email

How do today’s healthcare providers want to be reached? Equally important, what kind of information are they seeking? The 2019 HCP Communications Report by HealthLink Dimensions reveals how healthcare professionals want to receive communications from pharma as well as the type of content they crave.

This year’s study showed some slight shifts in the way HCPs are consuming content. Email remains king over other methods of outreach, however, the device primarily used to consume email is now the smartphone. Other interesting findings include an increased desire for product approval and prescribing updates and HCPs receptiveness to digital advertising.
